Bat-times

Hello Folks,

always long stretches between my posts.  I figure I'll never be good about posting regularly.  Anyways, here is another of my random sparse posts :p.  It's some concept and images from a couple of sequential pages I did with a friend of mine, the talented artist and part time supermodel Chris Turcotte.  Here are a few images.  As you probably know, Batman,Robin and Clayface are properties of DC comics and are copyright...this is not something we did for them, just a fan project...hope you enjoy :)

Head shape exercise

It went a bit farther than I was planning...but it was fun :D

ok,so its not a girl

I guess I'm just gonna go by feel and draw what I'm feeling at that moment. I am keeping up with drawing girls though. Maybe I'll post the last one in a bit...Anyways,this spidey is a quick sketch for a fanart piece that I'm doing. I rarely do full pieces,so I'm gonna force myself to do it. So far go the bg layed out...more to come.

Marvel's Spiderman

Did this study from a photo from either The Sartorialist,or Facehunter...I forget. Anyways,I just lightly used it as ref,as she doesn't really look like the girl in the photo. I'm gonna try to keep this up,doing these speedpaints and girl drawings...it's been fun

girl 2

todays girl...lightly used ref for this...

Invincible Redesign

I hope I win something...I wanna win some comics :P

making up for a girl a day

He's Red...It's not cuz of allergies

banging out a girl a day...

Well,I hope I can stick to this...I wanna draw a girl a day for at least a month in order to get more comfortable drawing them. I realize I don't do it enough...so,here's day 1

Some randoms

I'm gonna try to get more variety in here...try my hand at some environments,vehicles,women...

getting back to it...

another speed paint...40 min...

2nd set

still trying to feel my way around this...I actually like the first one I did better (right)...I like a more chunky look.

speedpaints

hehe,I want to do one at least a few times a week to get better doing digital painting...whether I actually do it remains to be seen...anyways...here
